Indications and Diagnosis (Cats)
Mavacamten is intended for cats diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), especially during the acute heart failure stage characterized by left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO), pulmonary congestion, or significant myocardial thickening. 

It should be administered only after the cat has been clearly diagnosed with the above cardiac condition,

During treatment, continuous monitoring of therapeutic response and safety is essential — including symptom improvement, ECHO parameter changes, overall body condition, and laboratory findings.

If no sustained improvement is observed, or if adverse reactions occur (e.g., lethargy, appetite loss, or cardiac function decline), treatment should be immediately discontinued.

Dosage Reference (Cats)
A daily dose of 0.1 mg/kg has been suggested.
